St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and food is always at the center of this holiday. We know the traditional corned beef and cabbage but what about appetizers? If you’re looking to add some fun to your menu, consider these:
Cheddar Beer Fondue
Cheese & Beer. Need we say more? This delicious fondue option is great with pretzels, bread, fruit or even sausages. It makes for a great sharing option for your customers.
Sprigs in a Blanket
Grab some fresh asparagus, prosciutto, and puff pastry for this modern twist on the family-favorite “pigs in a blanket”
Potato Halves with Smoked Salmon
Easy to prepare, bite-sized appetizer made with grilled red potatoes, salmon, sour cream, and topped with a bit of dill.
Crispy Golden Potatoes
Continuing with our potato trend, take some golden or small red potatoes, simmer them for about 20 minutes, press them with a spatula and roast them in the oven with some EVOO to get a nice crisp. Season with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper and it’s sure to be a hit.
Arugula Pesto
So not completely an appetizer on its own (unless you just love a nice spoonful of pesto) but an amazing arugula pesto can be added to nearly any appetizer to give it an extra pop of both color and flavor.
